back when I was playing a fair bit of poker, I was experimenting with stud games, but I haven't had much time recently, so my forays have been limited.  I fully expect to try it out again during the summer.

I know i'm new here and to the game but maybe we should try a 2-4 limit, dealers choice ring game one week. Keep it friendly so some people who aren't familiar with the games won't mind learning at those stakes. It sounds like there are enough people interested in these other games. Dealers choice, you play a round of whatever game the button picks. When it gets back to him the person to his left picks the game for the next round. But the intial dealer remains the spot where the next person picks. So your not switching game every hand but every round. When i say dealers choice i mean WSOP games, no wild cards of course. Omaha, Omaha 8/B, Limit Hold em, Stud, Stud 8/B, Razz, maybe even throw in some triple draw low or pineapple/ pineapple 8/B.

Yes, 8/B means 8 or better. That means you have to have 5 cards 8 or lower to qualify for a low hand. So since you have to use 2 cards and only 2 in your hand, there needs to be 3 cards on the board that are 8 or lower for there to even be a low. Some people play low with no qualifier. Meaning there is always a low hand each hand. In Omaha, whether it's high or 8/B you can't play the board like in hold em. You must use 2 and only 2 cards in your hand.
