TO ANY AND ALL CONCERNED, Now, after many months of research and correspondence, we post the following information regarding "PROVENANCE" with this set of poker chips. 1) This set was made in 1954 by TR KING, ordered by, and shipped to LOCKHEED CORPORATION for use aboard his AIR FORCE ONE, THE COLUMBINES, for PRESIDENT EISENHOWER, and all who traveled throughout his administration. 2) This set consists of 500 chips: 200 white, 150 pink, 100 light blue, 50 yellow (gold). 3) It is in the original, wood case, made by TR KING in the late 1940's. 4) It is the ONLY, KNOWN, COMPLETE SET, now available for sale, to the general public, by the owner of the set. 5) The "PRESIDENTIAL COAT OF ARMS" is on both sides of all the chips, and has been verified by the UNITED STATES HERALD SOCIETY. 6) This is one of two PRESIDENTIAL SETS, made by TR KING, exclusively for PRESIDENTIAL USE. The other set was made in 1949, for PRESIDENT TRUMAN, and is now located in the TRUMAN LIBRARY. (800 chips, 200 white, 200 royal blue, 200 red, 200 yellow) 7) The chips are SMALL CROWN, CROWN-CROWN, in design. 8) We can also provide complete information regarding the set from the time it was placed on board President Eisenhower's', Air Force One, to the present location of the set today. TR KING closed their doors August, 2006, and the poker chips, now, are of considerable interest among those within the chip collectors hobby.
